GENERAL SUMMARY
This position is an obvious company-wide expert in several areas and plays a visible leadership role in the acceleration of the adoption of emerging products, with responsibility for driving the strategy and implementation of technical sales strategies for emerging product areas across the company that result in reference sales. Requires the ability to rapidly assimilate knowledge of new products and technologies. Support the development of emerging technology world wide seeding plan. As part of EMC''s New Technology Competency Center Responsible for pre-sales of company products/systems Supporting qualified sales accounts/customers, with a primary focus on assisting sales (or sales channels) in critical phases of the sales process. Takes leadership for the development and dissemination of technical sales best practices. Work with product marketing product management and product development throughout the new product lifecycle to ensure that our designs meet current customer and industry requirements (Business Solution Focus).
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborates to validate emerging product/technology Go to Market plans as part of the development of a sales Seeding plan.
Qualifies emerging product/technology fit to customer problem.
Collaborates with local account team to develop a sales execution plan for the emerging product/technology
Established local competency for product/technologies.
Serves as a visionary by identifying new opportunities for process improvements , standards, initiatives and technology adoption
EMC Proven Professional Certification desired.
