Job Description
We are a highly visible group, which provides revenue and margin reporting and analysis to the executive office and senior management. In addition, we support all internal organizations such as Finance, Marketing, Engineering, Sales Operations and the Business Management Teams (BMT) with revenue and margin information and ad-hoc analysis.

The applications analyst position requires highly motivated individual with very strong technical, analytical and presentation skills, ability to handle multiple and competing priorities and work cross-functionally. Candidate must be customer oriented and have sense of urgency and strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform Revenue and margin analyses.
Participate in the publication of the Q-end reporting package; develop analyses to explain quarterly trends.
Assist in financial month/quarter close process.
Critically review existing business processes with relation to revenue and margin reporting and data and process integrity and make recommendations for improvement.
Reconcile data between reporting systems and explain variances.
Create reports and dashboards using Oracle OBIEE and Essbase tools.
Involve in defining, documenting, and clarifying business requirements on various reporting system enhancements and report/dashboard development.
Work with the IT, PPMG, Finance, Sales and Marketing organizations on development and implementation of reporting system enhancements and fixes.
Translate business needs into system requirements.
Evaluate and articulate proposed business requirements and identify impact, risks, and benefits of alternative solutions.
Investigate complex problems in production environments and suggest solutions to resolve them.
Maintain and manage security roles for user access to revenue reporting systems.
Provide training and documentation for users on reporting system functionality.

Experience and Education

Education: Bachelors (Tech) or equivalent; Business or Technical area with a MIS concentration is preferred.
Work experience: 1 - 3 years as a business or systems analyst.
Technical skills: Oracle OBIEE, Essbase, Microsoft Office products, Brio Query, SQL or MS Access proficiency.
