Advisory Solutions Architect \ Technology Consultant (Network Centric)

Provides advanced technical and/or business consultative services during the pre-sales and post-sales cycle for the VDC practice that will be focused on supporting customer initiatives in the Virtualization, Network Convergence, and Cloud Enablement markets. Provides technical leadership for networking technologies and data center infrastructure design. Responsible for execution of all technical interaction of the customer engagements · Is the lead technical expert in the pre-sales qualification and is responsible for the delivery of the technical architectural design, strategies and plans that will be a delivered in the engagement. · Develops and articulates solutions based on a customer's strategic business or technical requirements ascertained from working with multiple business units across the customer's organization. · Provides technical leadership through consultation with partners, consulting, and Sr. TIS Management by participating in Solution/Best Practice development projects and other cross-functional team activities. · In depth and comprehensive knowledge of networking media, protocols and vendor portfolios. · A minimum of 6 years of domain experience in the networking industry as an architect, systems engineer, or delivery engineer. · Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. · Extensive UNIX and Linux knowledge including system administration, network administration, debugging and troubleshooting is required. · Academic degree/program background with focus on distributed systems, telecommunications, or networking is desired - Cisco certification, specifically CCIE, highly desired Apply Now >>
