The Content Management and Archiving (CMA) Division of EMC is looking for a bright, passionate, highly talented and motivated senior software engineer to contribute to the development of software products in the fast growing healthcare marketplace. EMC helps healthcare companies and government agencies deal with increasing healthcare related data by providing software that allows patient and clinical data to be securely stored, searched, accessed and shared, thereby providing best care decisions to the patients and improving the bottom line. The java based software is standards based, leverages open source technologies such as Spring, Apache Camel, Open eHealth, CXF etc, and can be either hosted in-house or deployed in a cloud. The team has embraced the use of Agile methodology for the development process and works closely with the other EMC divisions including the EMC CTO office.

Job Responsibilities: · Work with Product Managers to translate requirements into design and functional specifications. · Writing test plans, designing test fixtures, plan for equipment and documenting results of tests. · Create test software infrastructure and automation including development of QA tools. · Running performance, load and stress tests. · Automate running of tests with a continuous integration server. · Recognize problems that need further investigation and actively seek assistance when needed. · Work with established processes to maintain, modify and enhance existing software quality methods and processes. · Provide technical assistance and guidance to junior members. · Assist customers and business partners with software implementation and deployment. · Work in rapid 2-3 week development cycles. Qualifications:
BS/MS in CS or a related technical field.
Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive software QA experience.
Prior experience in applying state of the art software testing methods, strategies and tools.
Experience with testing frameworks such a Junit is required.
Knowledge of a scripting language such as PERL, PHP, Unix Shell or Powershell.
Hand on experience in configuring and testing of software in a virtualized environment.
Experience creating java automation frameworks and test plans from inception through release.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Prior experience testing large and complex software systems built with Java XML, Web Services and relational database technologies is desired.
Programming experience with Java.
Experience using application servers such as JBoss and relational databases is required.
Experience with Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, XP etc) is desired.
Knowledge of build tools such as Maven and Ant and CI systems such as TeamCity is desired.
Ability to multi-task, is self-motivated, a team player, has a sense of ownership and accountability
