SR. BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST

Senior Business Systems Analyst – Master Data Management
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The Sr. Systems Analyst plans and directs analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems. They also develop, write, and edit computer-related technical and business documentation. The Sr. Systems Analyst will command meetings and coordinate peers to accomplish projects and resolve problems. The Sr. Systems Analyst must be a self starter and self sufficient requiring minimal supervision of day to day issue tracking & resolution. The ideal Sr. Systems Analyst will possess a unique blend of technical, business, and people skills. The Sr. Systems Analyst provides business systems analysis and support for a multitude of applications used by Business Units and Administrative functions across the company. The Systems Analyst plays a key role as a subject matter expert and technical consultant throughout the lifecycle of their assigned applications. The Analyst is heavily involved in planning, implementation and production support. The Analyst is responsible for managing end-user client relationships while responding to both critical and routine application support requests as well as interfacing with software vendors and consultants for development and support.
• Build strong relationships with the Business Technology Group (BTG) to understand business challenges and collaborate on possible solutions.
• Accurately translates Business Requirements into Functional Design Documents.
• Provide strategic technical insight with respect to the Sales Master Data Management systems and shares expertise on concerns with integrating with other current systems.
• Configures Master Data Management packaged applications to meet business requirements.
• Interacts closely with the development team on the translation of functional designs into technical designs and deliverables.
• Interacts closely with Testing Center of Excellence to review test scripts and ensure accurate and complete testing coverage.
• Provides functional oversight for the delivery of large and complex initiatives in the Sales Master Data Management space.
• May mentor one or more junior BAs. Responsible for functional specifications for large scale programs (potentially overseeing junior or contractor BA resources on a large program).
Required Skills
• At least 7 years overall experience; 3 with MDM applications
• Extensive experience interpreting user needs and writing or editing functional specifications for new systems, systems changes or system enhancements.
• Can quickly learn the functionality of packaged applications and understand how to implement and configure them to meet complex business requirements.
• Solid understanding of Customer Master Data Management practices and concepts.
• Appropriate understanding of Customer Master Data Management data architecture and integration methodologies.
• Technical or functional experience with Master Data Management Applications including at least one of Trillium Quality, D&B Integration Manager, or a Customer Data Hub.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and written communication skills to frequently interact with all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work both independently and within cross functional project teams that span multiple time-zones.
• Ability to influence others to achieve results.

• Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding, and fluid environment
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel).

• Experience working with managed service partners
• Experience working in a controlled/validated environment (Sarbanes Oxley)
• Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM applications
