Associate Technology Consultant I

General Summary The Associate Technical Consultant (ATC) role at RSA requires an intelligent, goal oriented, creative and energetic individual with a strong technical aptitude that wants to win. The ATC will participate in the RSA Associate TC Program to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel at core job responsibilities. The program will provide the necessary training and mentoring to provide a firm foundation for entry into a career in the RSA Security Specialist organization. The ATC will work closely with senior RSA Security Specialists to understand customer security concerns and to design appropriate solutions. The ATC will be joining a high performing team that values initiative and personal responsibility, supported by a community of technical professionals. The RSA ATC is primarily responsible for the technical validation process within an RSA product sales opportunity. The technical validation process ensures RSA proposes a technical solution that solves the customer’s business problem. This is accomplished by uncovering the needs and desires of the customer, by architecting a valid solution, and by demonstrating and validating the suggested architecture. The ATC is expected to provide support to the RSA sales teams in defining strategies for successful sales and implementations of various RSA solutions. Principal Duties and Responsibilities · Supports sales personnel by developing technical strategies to deliver RSA solutions that support business objectives of customers. · Supports analysis of customer’s business objective by gathering information from customers that enable the sales team to devise a proposed solution · Deliver sales and technical pre-sales support to customers · Deliver product training and knowledge around the RSA enVision solutions to customers, channel partners, and technology partners · Host web presentations and online demonstrations to customers and internal sales teams Skills · General knowledge of IT infrastructure, operations, and enterprise security principals; may have experience as an Application developer, network, or systems administrator · Ability to present and discuss RSA products, as well as general RSA messaging · Ability to solve technical problems independently · Consultative approach to problem solving. · Persuasive Education Required: Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, or MIS Experience Required: 1-3 Years Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and rack appliances for testing and POCs Business Travel Required: YES – up to 50% Willing to relocate : YES Interview process will include: · Several interview sessions to determine if there is a mutual job and company fit · Several skills assessment sessions: o Presentation/whiteboard of technical material o Demonstration of technical material o Objection handling role play Apply Now >>
