Background Based in Bedford, MA, our team is looking for a successful candidate to be responsible for driving the direction and definition of our RSA envision product. RSA enVision for security and information event management (SIEM) is independently validated by Gartner and others as the leading product in the marketplace. Over 2000 customers have deployed enVision, making it one of the most widely used SIEM solutions. Job Responsibilities · Collaborate on the development and execution of the product strategy, roadmap and go-to-market · Ability to balance near-term priorities with investments in next generation products to maximize product impact in the marketplace · Manage the collection and definition of feature requirements based on market analysis data, competitive comparisons, and revenue results · Creates the business case and strategy for assigned product areas · Present roadmaps to customers to evangelize product capability and support sales efforts · Drive effective cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, services, and engineering to ensure that optimal product strategies are executed effectively · Champion the usage of product management process and best practices Skills Required · Considerable product lifecycle management experience (5-10yrs), with demonstrated impact and progression of responsibility · Good knowledge of enterprise software · Strong technical aptitude, including good working knowledge of web application technologies and software development processes · Ability to combine big-thinking strategic perspective with a detail-oriented approach to problem solving · Entrepreneurial, can-do approach couple with a strong desire to make a difference · Strong executive presence and ability to evangelize new products, strategies, and processes, ability to work effectively with wide range of personalities · Ability to work collaboratively across functions within the business unit and across the broader EMC organization · Proficient in driving for results, with a sense of accountability and ability to change pace and focus due to dynamic ecosystem Qualifications
10+ years of product management or related experience in enterprise software
Bachelors’ degree in technical or business concentration required. MBA a strong plus
