Senior QA Engineer Automation

Senior QA Engineer

Looking for a talented engineer to help drive and execute automated testing. Ideal candidate should have:

Technical:
- 7+ years experience developing or testing complex software and hardware systems
- Proven experience developing tests and tools in PERL and scripting languages. Ruby experience is highly desirable
- Storage system test background
- Experience with testing network file systems in both a UNIX and Windows environment (NFS, CIFS, NDMP, VTL, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in developing test strategy – preferably in a distributed storage network environment. Ability to see the 'Big Picture'
- Experience with variety of testing tools and methodologies
- System software test development on Linux
- Test automation experience
- In-depth knowledge of cross-platform development and testing
- Familiarity with storage management products such as VERITAS, Legato, and Tivoli and storage systems such as NetApp, EMC, IBM, Compaq/HP desired

Characteristics:
- Self-starter. Needs minimal management
- Leadership. Ability to engender respect and drive a team of technical engineers to accomplish a common goal
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in working with remote staff
