Job Description : We are looking for several Microsoft centric consultants for a large government agency located in Tampa, FL. All positions require current Microsoft based certifications and a Secret clearance. (Clearance will be processed for the qualified candidates.)
Candidates will be part of a small, multi-vendor team providing architecture design and engineering support for a worldwide Microsoft enterprise. The shared goal is to improve the client's technological posture, provide informed decisions on the customer's forward facing technology roadmap, offer process improvement support and assist the customer to achieve Service Level Agreements by acting as the final point of issue escalation. More specifically, candidates will be providing the full lifecycle of information technology development, from requirements analysis to implementation. Everyone is not expected to possess skills in the full Microsoft suite of technologies but a solid focus on one subset is expected; the ideal scenario is to have all of these skill sets covered by the team. These will be high-level positions, so the candidates should be able to lead technical discussions, lead and manage IT projects and provide guidance for more junior staff.
Must have skills include
Windows Server 2003/Active Directory design, implementation, and support.
Exchange Server 2003 design, implementation, and support.
Technical writing
Nice to have skills include:
Asset management (inventory, software deployment, patching – CA Datacenter and/or SCCM and SoftGrid)
Performance Monitoring (CA Datacenter and/or SCOM)
Virtualization (VMware)
Security (PKI and ISA)
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. Secret Clearance preferred.
